This underground lake in Mellisani Caves, near Kefalonia, was found when the roof of the cave collapsed after an earthquake in 1953.
Taj Mahal, India
I don’t know if anyone reading this has ever seen a picture of the sun setting just beyond the Taj Mahal, but if they have then they surely understand why it takes such a high spot. There aren’t many places in the world to see such a sight as a sunset like this.

They are a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. Composed primarily of ice, Mammatus Clouds can extend for hundreds of miles in each direction. Mammatus clouds are often harbingers of a coming storm or other extreme weather system.

The magnificent Fulmer Falls is located in Pike County, Pennsylvania in the US.
Horseshoe Bend
The Horseshoe Bend, named for its almost circular shape, is found on the Colorado River. From the canyon walls to the river is a spectacular 1000ft drop.

The unofficial flowers of Japan, the spectacular display of blossoms that arrive in the spring are celebrated by festivals both in Japan and the U.S. The most popular colors are white and pink. They are beautiful while on the trees and remain a stunning sight even after carpeting the ground.

Cannas not only feature pretty blossoms, but also beautiful leaves (often likened to that of the banana plant) that come in a variety of stunning colors. Popularized in Victorian times, Cannas are popular garden plants.
